Through my art, the main theme of my work is mortality, more specifically the physical/biological versus the spiritual in the realms of death. This piece is an exploration on the common belief that the body houses the soul, and how in death, your body isn't considered you, but your body, since your consciousness is no longer being held inside your body. The rabbit represents the dollhouse, as it is the physical body in which the little rooms and rabbits are being housed. The rooms and the tiny rabbits are symbolic of your inner thoughts and personality, what makes you as a consciousness special.
